Civoryn implements a tactical turn-based combat engine where every decision matters. The initiative system determines action order based on character agility stats, while the positioning grid affects attack ranges and defensive bonuses. Each character class possesses unique ability trees with branching skill paths that unlock as you progress through the campaign.
The progression system operates on dual tracks: experience-based leveling and skill point allocation.
